A Message From Cris Lane

I am very excited to participate in this event. As many of you know, I recently participated in a design class at the Shelter Institute and I'm looking forward to getting some hands on experience at Habitat. I recently learned an interesting fact that is costs Habitat $49 per night for a family to stay in their new or repaired home. So I set my goal to cover 1 week!

In Support of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland partners with low-income families to provide them safe, affordable, and decent housing. This is accomplished through two primary programs. In the homeownership program, families earn a low-interest mortgage as we build them new homes from the ground up using volunteer labor. Our Critical Home Repair program provides affordable home repairs to make the client's home warmer, safe, or drier.
