Women Build is a movement that unites and empowers women to collectively make an impact on affordable housing in the communities where we work and live!
Whether you're new to construction or a pro, we can't wait for you to join us on a Habitat build day!
After a successful Spring Women Build that raised nearly $25,000, we're back for our first ever fall Women Build series, presented by Hammond Lumber. All funds raised will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland's mission to help make homeownership and affordable home repair a reality for low-income families in Greater Portland.

In Support of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland partners with low-income families to provide them safe, affordable, and decent housing. This is accomplished through two primary programs. In the homeownership program, families earn a low-interest mortgage as we build them new homes from the ground up using volunteer labor. Our Critical Home Repair program provides affordable home repairs to make the client's home warmer, safe, or drier.

Good work, Liz. We have visited quite a few Habitat stores in our effort to renovate Saphrona's new house in Harrison. We actually bought a set of removed kitchen cabinets in the Bath store (which used to be in Topsham. So we appreciate all you are contributing. Blessings, Bridget -
