A Message From Carla Yount

Hi all, I am honored to participate in a Women Build project again this year for Habitat for Humanity in Maine. Our team, hosted by SoPo Cottage, will be working on a home for a local family. In addition to the physical work, part of our mission is to also fundraise, so if you are able to contribute any amount to sponsor me in this event it is much appreciated. In Support of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland partners with low-income families to provide them safe, affordable, and decent housing. This is accomplished through two primary programs. In the homeownership program, families earn a low-interest mortgage as we build them new homes from the ground up using volunteer labor. Our Critical Home Repair program provides affordable home repairs to make the client's home warmer, safe, or drier.
