Every year, our Women Build event brings together hundreds of women from all walks of life to tackle the housing crisis with heart and hard work.
This isn't just about fundraising or construction; it’s about the power of solidarity, the pride of learning new skills, and the joy of lifting each other up. It’s a unique call to action for women-led teams to join forces, roll up their sleeves, and help build the safe, affordable homes every family deserves.

In Support of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland partners with low-income families to provide them safe, affordable, and decent housing. This is accomplished through two primary programs. In the homeownership program, families earn a low-interest mortgage as we build them new homes from the ground up using volunteer labor. Our Critical Home Repair program provides affordable home repairs to make the client's home warmer, safe, or drier.
